Due to my extensive design and construction background, I bring a unique perspective to disaster and emergency preparedness. I am very passionate about helping families, individuals and communities achieve a sense of safety through education and training in property safety, personal safety, and disaster and emergency preparedness.

I have 16+ years of active participation in disaster relief and humanitarian trips in the U.S. post Hurricane Katrina as well as in the countries of Colombia and Cambodia. I currently volunteer with my local Fire Department in their CERT Program (Community Emergency Response Team) and the American Red Cross primarily providing safety education, training and products to my community.
